My 28th birthday presents
As you know, it is my birthday today. Yes, already 28th?! I don’t even know when it all happened. Just remember that 2 days ago we were watching TV with my mom on the sofa and out of the blue she just shouted:
”OMG, do you know how old are you going to be???”
Well mommy, I do! I am aware of it, trust me! But I keep saying that age is just a number and means nothing. And I mean it. I actually think I do feel and do look better with each year. And I get more experience, more beautiful memories and I also know each time more what I do want from life and what I don’t. And that’s important, right?
Last year I spent my birthday exploring the beauty of Hong Kong without my family.
This year I decided to come back to my home town Snina in Slovakia and spend some quality time with family I love.
I am not a party person any more so having a birthday party is not the reason why I am in Slovakia again. Will be just chatting with my beloved over a meal, that’s pretty much it.
But obviously, I do love birthday presents. Everyone does, right?
And I got the biggest present already a week before my birthday.
I won. My travel blog won the Fun award.
Fun award awarded to the travel blogger whose fun spirit brings her writing to life and makes us want to be her friend in the real world.

It was at Travel Blogger Awards done by Hostel Bookers in Barrio Central, Soho, London on the 7th November 2012.
I swear this was the first time ever in my life that I won something. And I won it because of all of you, my lovely readers who voted for me :)
My BIGGEST THANKS go to my readers who spent a few seconds and voted for my blog. It just shows me that what I do really matters to some of you out there :)
And you know what? Not that I just won the Fun Award (and I beat Will Peach!) but also a prize with it:

This was the best thing I could ever win. I can always use flights around the world :) Not sure where I choose to fly yet as there ar so many places I want to visit and include in my Adventure and Spa project in 2013. I will know more in December and will be sper happy to use the prize and book with RTW Experts :)
