8 Awesome ideas on what to prepare in your next travel after this pandemic
When you are planning to travel after the COVID-19 pandemic ends, you should prepare for a new world. There are a few things listed below that might be obvious to you, but these things are often not obvious to all the people around you. Prepare for travel by going through each step in this process. Once you have completed one step, you can move on to the next one. You want to be sure that you are ready when you travel so that you do not risk getting sick or transmitting diseases to others.
1. Bring colorful masks
Everyone knows that they will need to wear a mask to travel, but wearing a colorful mask makes traveling more fun. The people around you will be taken aback by the fact that you are wearing a mask that looks like it came from a designer shop. You can wear fun masks that people will like, and you can even match your masks to your clothes just for fun.
2. Use a travel water filter
You can use the Travel Berkey water filter to ensure that you have clean water wherever you go. You may not want to drink the local water for fear of getting sick, or you may be extra vigilant because you know that water can spread diseases easily. A travel water filter is easy to use, gives you clean drinking water no matter where you are, and is easy to carry.
3. Bring gloves
You do not want to wear latex gloves to the airport or at the train station. However, you do not want to touch surfaces that could transmit germs or bacteria. You should take the time to order fun gloves to wear on your trip. You might find microfiber gloves that are easy to disinfect, or you might find rubber gloves that will be easier to clean. You want something that will keep you safe, but you do not want to smell like latex during your trip. Ideally gloves you can reuse more times, not those single-use ones. Let’s be eco-friendly.
4. Get there very early
You should arrive at your hotel, the airport, the cruise ship, or the train terminal as early as possible. Security lines will be extremely long when you are in busy terminals, and you want to be as close to the front of the line as possible. You should give yourself an extra two hours above and beyond when you need to leave for a trip especially if you are traveling alone. Because you will be waiting for such a long time, you should listen to audiobooks to enrich your life and learn something new.
5. Explore remote areas
Because you do not want to be around crowds of people on your vacation, you should try the most remote areas. You can travel to small islands, remote outposts, or stay in a cabin in the woods for a few days. Explore more of the world so that you can remain safe. The less people, the better :)
6. Start walking
You might get more exercise on your vacation than you have ever gotten in your life. You should also try to start exercising at home. Walk everywhere you need to go on your vacation. If you need to rent a car, drive to your final destination, walk where you need to go, and get some exercise every day.
7. Avoid guided tours
You should not go on guided tours with large groups. Many tours might be disallowed because the tour companies cannot accommodate large groups of people. Create your own tour, build a map on your phone, and explore all the places you want to go. You have complete control over your trip, and you will stumble upon fun places to visit that are not necessarily visited by tour guides.
8. Have a deck party
You do not need to go to the beach every day to party and have a good time. You might not feel comfortable going to clubs or bars while you are traveling, but you can host a deck party with the people that you have traveled with. This is an easy way to have a good time, and you can prepare for the party as soon as you arrive. You can cut down your contact with others, but you will enjoy your trip all the same. Well, if you are a party person… If you are not, like me, then you can just have a nice discussion about different topics without alcohol :)
Conclusion
When you are preparing to travel, you should use the tips listed above to make this trip the best for your life. You can invest in fun tools to use on your trip, make your own tours, and walk so that you get a lot of exercise on your next trip.
TIP: One of the remote places I could recommend you visiting would be for example Con Dao islands in Vietnam. It’s the last islands I personally been to before the pandemic and loved the atmosphere there.
