Bars you must visit in Ibiza
Every summer, millions of people from across Europe head off to their chosen holiday destinations for a week or two of fun and relaxation. We all have our own different reasons for taking a trip abroad, of course, so a fortnight spent sunbathing and doing very little else may appeal to some but not to others. As always, it’s simply a matter of personal choice; all that matters is that the people have a good time.
A significant proportion of younger travelers will be keen to sample life in one of the continent’s party destinations. A little time spent letting off steam with friends has almost become a rite of passage for many, and every year locations such as Magaluf in Majorca, Malia in Crete and Ayia Napa in Cyprus play host to large groups of young men and women all intent on sampling the nightlife.
Keeping Thrill Levels High
There is one destination that’s still rightly regarded as the Rolls-Royce of good-time destinations, and it continues to attract discerning party-goers in their droves every summer. The Balearic island of Ibiza has earned a legendary reputation among the serious fun-seekers, partly because it offers a wide range of entertainment options that will keep the thrill levels high all through the night.
The island is home to a number of clubs which are internationally renowned, but it’s worth noting there are also a vast number of superb bars waiting to welcome revellers before they head off to the larger venues. A few pre-club drinks represents a little ritual that helps to get the evening off on the right foot, so it’s important for visitors to find a venue in which they feel relaxed and ready to get the party started.
Café del Mar in Sant Antoni de Portmany is especially popular, partly because the sunsets in this part of the island are absolutely spectacular. The views, accompanied by the best tunes, are enough to make the holiday a memorable one. Aura Cocktail Lounge in the centre of the island offers a wonderfully relaxing vibe to visitors, and should be on everyone’s must-visit list.
The Eden Lounge, atop the Na Xamena cliffs, and Ibiza town’s La Cava are also highly recommended, so be sure to pay a visit. Party holidays are never inexpensive, of course, but Jet2holidays are offering cheap all inclusive holidays to Ibiza, so it won’t have to cost the earth to have a good time.
