The best places to visit in 2017
In 2013 I already wrote an article about why Baja California should be a part of everyone’s summer wish list. But even if you could tire of sun-kissed beaches and heavenly Mexican food, there are plenty of other magical options for fun in the sun!
Midnight sun in Norway
Whilst Norway can be a pretty bleak place in the winter months, in summer it’s transformed into a beautiful and very modern holiday destination. Not only does it enjoy the midnight sun in June, but it can also give us all a good chance to find out why this is the happiest place on Earth.
Beautiful beaches in Portugal
Of course if you’ve got your heart set on a beach holiday, then it’s the best to avoid summer crowds so some of these secret beaches in Portugal look like a good bet. Not only do they offer some fantastic surfing opportunities, but Portugal delivers a relaxed way of life that’s perfectly suited to fun in the sun.
Culture and city living in The Netherlands
For a touch of culture, the Netherlands offers a great holiday choice. Not only is 2017 the 100-year anniversary of the De Stijl modernist art movement, but walking around the canals of chic cities like Delft and Utrecht can often feel like a work of art in itself. And even if you wanted to stay out late into the night, then Amsterdam has earned itself a great reputation as the party capital of Europe.
Deserts and fun in Las Vegas
It’s hard to argue with Sin City’s reputation as being a serious partying hotspot. With an outrageous number of glamorous resort hotels and endless gaudy cabaret attractions, it has to be the best place for adult-orientated fun. We can be a little more extravagant on the gaming tables and enjoy the wonder of the nearby Nevada Desert with the magnificent Red Rocks Canyon providing plenty of awesome photo opportunities. And if you are into adventure, check out Flightlinez zipline.
Island escapes in Hawaii
And finally, there are some destinations that are a very safe option for the perfect summer holiday experience. For example, the island of Kauai has made the shortlist for National Geographic’s holiday hotspots thanks to its enviable blend of magnificent waterfalls and lush forests. And with even the option of taking your smartphone to add some mobile casino fun to the proceedings, it’s hard to argue with the delights of this exotic holiday destination!

So beautiful. A land of poetic realism, Hawaii is wonderful.

Thank for your list. I’m making a plan for my long trip in this summer but I do not know where should I go but after reading your article I think I know where I have to go – Hawaii is the first place.

Thank for your reply, I really enjoy it. but I’m wondering. is it ok for a trip to Hawaii in this summer ( maybe next month ) because I’m afraid of some big storms will ruin my plan?
