Photo of the week: an Egyptian guy standing on the boat rail

In August 2007, I took holidays to Egypt. During 2 weeks of just relaxing, eating and sunbathing in a 5 star hotel in Hurghada with my mom, we took a day trip to Giftun Island. I could not believe my eyes that I did manage to convince my mom to get on a boat. After her usual screaming ‘you are crazy’, in the end she did enjoy the trip. Woo hoo! On the way back to Hurghada, I spent an hour in the front desk of the boat watching the waves and the land in the horizon. An Egyptian guy working on the boat suddenly jumped on the boat rail and was playing Titanic. I think I was more scared than him that he could fall down of the boat.

I visited Egypt and Hurghada again with my mom in 2012, so much fun! Also a bit difficult to suvive 12 days without internet connection there :)
