Girona photos
Girona, Girona, Girona … I’ve heard of this town so many times years ago and also flew there regularly when I used to work as a cabin crew. I was sure Girona is a really outstanding town in Catalunia even before I visited. The photos of the bridges over Onyar river are world-known together with the colourful houses all around.
I guess not many tourists go directly to Girona for their holidays but you might consider for example holidays to Barcelona and then take a day trip up North through uncountable number of cute little villages till you get 100 km from Barcelona to Girona. There’s a lot to see, trust me. Wikipedia states 7 Girona main sights and they are all within walking distance. If you choose a sunny day, it will be even more magical.
I visited Girona twice already, first for TBEX in Girona in September 2012 and then again when staying at Rocaberti castle in Sant Mori. Both experiences were short and I only scratched the surface of town’s beauty but as we say back home ”something is better than nothing”.
I hope you enjoy my Girona photos:

I lived in Spain for a year and went traveling whenever I could (they love their 5 day weekends there), but I still hear about places I didn’t visit. Which means I have an excuse to go back, of course…
