Kayaking at Balandra beach
I remember my days in La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur in Mexico, very well. It was some fun relaxing sunbathing and exploring days filled with fresh food. On my last day just before heading to the airport, Sergio from Todos Santos Eco Adventures I did cliff walk from Todos Santos with a few days ago, decided to make my last hours in BCS unforgettable.
He picked me up at Seven Crown hotel where I was staying at that time and drove me to Balandra beach, one of the most paradise beaches I’ve ever seen in my life.
We did short kayaking there just to get the feeling of the paradise this area has to offer … crystal clear sea where you could literally spot everything in the deep! Also some stingrays that bite your feet pretty hard which is the only disadvantage of this paradise beach.
But the stingrays are in there just at certain time of the year, not all year long so before you head over there, check it out.
The rest of the kayaking trip was peaceful and I felt the strong connection with the nature. We stopped for a few minutes and walked up a little sand hill to get the pretty view. There I also took a second for one of my yoga around the world photos – the tree pose.
*** It took me 2 hours to write this post.

What a stunning beach and location. I could kayak there for hours.
I didn’t realise stingrays were aggressive. Is it only a certain time of year they are aggressive or just when they are visiting those shores?

Well, they bite your toes and feet always when you walk around them and it’s said to hurt really a lot. Haven’t happened to me yet so can’t tell but don’t even want to know :D
