Healing mud in Laguna de Coyuca that Julio Iglesias used
When I went to Acapulco, I did a tour to Laguna de Coyuca and at one stage we got off the boat (called lancha in Mexico) to a place which is very famous. There are photos of Julio Iglesias who visited it, then the Mexican singer Luis Miguel and photos from the movie Tarzan which was filmed here.
Why is the place so well-known? They offer you kind of dark green mud from the lake which has healing effects for your body, mostly for the skin and it gets rid of the toxins of your body. You can use it only for the face, or the whole body if you like. In bikini, topless or naked, depends just on you.
They wanted me to do it naked. Haha such a great joke! Logically if I wanted to post the pictures here on my blog, I had to refuse it. Anyway, just the feeling of letting the older lady put the mud at some parts of the body was kinda unpleasant. So sorry guys, but NO was my answer.
I stayed in bikini as you all can see, and when the mud started to dry was very funny. Ladies, you know how it is. I could not move with my face, speak properly and then after a bit of time could not almost move at all. I felt like ironwoman when the mud was drying up. I liked the feeling, though. We continued the trip around the lake and I sat in the front of the boat to make the mud dry faster due to the wind and sun.
After like 20 minutes, the mud lost the dark green colour and became light grey. That was the time to wash it out. We pulled over the boat and I jumped into the lake. Took me longer to get rid of it then to the lady to put it on me :D Finally, mission almost impossible became possible!
And now I can say almost every centimetre of my body enjoyed the healing mud in Laguna de Coyuca. And my ironwoman photo will be soon hanging next to the one of Julio Iglesias.
This trip was a press trip organized by Hotel Alba Suites in Acapulco and Joanri viajes. However, all the opinions in the post are honest and just of my own. Definitely you should take the tour, it is a lot of fun and Joel from Joanri is an amazing person!

I’m sure that was a fun experience. I was in Laguna de Coyuca when I was child to see a championship of speed boats. It was a beautiful place.
