Travel with best friends
Maybe you are asking yourselves how to travel, if alone, with some random people, colleagues from work, parents or other members of family, or your friends. Can be different for everyone. But I’ve spent many of my trips with my best friends and I have to say, it’s so cool. Why? Here I give you some points to show that travel with best friends has many advantages.
- I bet you will have the best laugh ever, usually I can’t stop laughing till my stomach and jaws hurt (apart from fun, you burn calories and tone your belly)
- you are more comfortable in the same room
- you can feel yourself and enjoy more because you do not have to pretend anything or be ashamed of anything
- you feel more self-confident when travel with your best friends, so definitely get ready for some great funny moments, flirting, getting phone numbers, smiles, winks, whistles, or even maybe free food or discounts …
- you do crazy things you would probably never do when alone or with people you don’t know well (like swimming naked at 5am in the swimming pool, a day without knickers in a mini dress, jumping on a 3 m high wall)
- you can share things in case you forget something (clothes, cosmetics etc.) or share food, too so in this way you can e.g. order 2 different meals in a restaurant and eat half of each and satisfy your fastidious tongue more
- you can take crazy pictures of each other without having to ask an unknown passer-by and once again just do the same boring face and pose you have on 1000 photos already
- you don’t have to be scared of passing a weird silent moments when you do not know what to say as for sure with your best friends you would never run out of topics for chat
- sometimes it’s enough just to look at each other and you both/all know what you want to say :)
- you get as much TLC as you want without asking for it, which can be useful during long tiring exploring of the place/town
- it’s easier to agree about the plan of the trip, where to go and what to do as you know each other well and know what the other likes
- perhaps you can get some group discount for the entrance (or if your best friend is still too young and gets a junior discount, they can give it to you, too without asking, like they gave to me which saved me 4,50 euro)
- more heads = more ideas = more fun
Everything that has advantages logically has disadvantages, too, but speaking about when you travel with best friends, I still have not found any …
So, by any chance, if you are still thinking about who should you take with you on your next trip, here is the easy answer, you do not have to think twice, just call your best friends and I’m sure you will never forget the funny times with them, ever.
