Photo essay – cute vochos in Mexico

All the older Volkswagen Beetles are called VOCHOS in Mexico. I understood this word only once I came to Mexico City, never before heard it. I love these cars, so funny and cute, so I started taking photos of them each time I saw one. I had a collection of almost 100 excellent  vocho pictures but lost them all when my laptop was stolen.

So at least my last couple of days in Mexico I took some photos of vochos I saw. Unfortunately, no barbie pink vochos with eyes, nor convertible vochos like those I managed to see in the first 2 months of my Mexico trip.

Volkswagen Beetles are pretty cool, aren’t they?
